How to Promote Your Books for Back-to-School

When the calendar flips to August, many of us shift into “back-to-school mode.” Over the next few weeks, my kids will receive their teacher assignments, and with it, a list of requested school supplies to help stock the classroom.

Last year in addition to buying pencils, tissue, and glue sticks, I also decided to gift my children’s teachers a full set of my children’s books. And then I thought- maybe others will want to do the same?

Book Promotion for Back-to-School

I love the idea of filling classroom shelves with new books for the school year. Here is the exact language I used in an email to my friends, family, and previous customers:

Dear friends and family,

So many of us (myself included) wait until the end of the school year to purchase a Thank You gift for our child's teacher. But so many teachers I know are actively trying to stock their classroom bookshelves RIGHT NOW!

So why not give a gift that says, “Thanks in advance for your hard work and a wonderful year!”

Through August 31st my children's books are 20% off with the discount code BACKTOSCHOOL.

Each copy is signed with a special message, which makes it a perfect addition to any preschool or elementary classroom!

I hope you’ll consider sending a similar email and posting your own back-to-school deal on your social media!
