So this week as I celebrate being 1 year older, I'm re-calibrating and revisiting those 40th birthday goals.
Goal #1:Help at least 100 aspiring and self-published authors achieve their book promotion goals.
Update #1: I’m so happy to have exceeded this goal! Through my online author trainings, I have been able to reach hundreds of authors around the world. I’ve loved connecting with these incredibly talented people.
Update #2: Yes! I was thrilled to not only launch this book, but to sell out of my first run! I love sharing this story about imagination, travel, and culture will families far and wide.
Goal #3: Release the title of my next children’s book.
Update #3: Yes! "Let's Meet on the Moon"- a story about staying connected when we can't be together- is now available! I’m so proud of this book.
Goal #4: Take a family vacation and a kid-free vacation.
Update #4: We were fortunate to kick off the new year with a family trip to Florida. As for that kid-free vacation, maybe in 2021... or 2022.
If I've learned anything during this last year it's that things don't always go as planned. So for this next trip around the sun I'm trying to approach my life in smaller segments of time. Weeks, days, or sometimes even a few hours at a time.
What about you? Is publishing a book on your 40th birthday bucket list? Send me a message, and let’s connect!
