Library Card Sign-Up Month: Do you remember getting your first library card? What’s the last book you checked out? What’s on your library hold list? There are so many ways to talk about the role of libraries in our communities. Take a moment to share some photos, thank your librarian, and encourage others to sign up!
National Literacy Month: Take some time to share tips, strategies, and resources for parents and educators to foster a love for reading and writing in children. This could include book recommendations, creative activities, and approaches to scheduling a great school reading event.
Read a Book Day (September 6th): Isn’t this EVERY day?? It is in my house, but on September 6th take a snapshot of what you’re reading, post a review of a favorite book, or record a video of you reading one of your own books and share it with your followers!
Buy a Book Day (September 7th): What better time to promote your books than on #BuyABookDay! Consider offering a flash sale and a special discount to anyone who purchases a copy of your book this day.
